Introduction to Child Labor

Imagine if your family had no money and all hope was lost. Until you see an ad for a job to good to be true.The next thing you know your in Africa working in a factory. Children have always worked in the US. and other countries. Child labor gained popularity in the19th and 20th centuries also in times of the great depression and the industrialization era. Child labor is very popular in foreign countries in tiny places. Children under the age of 18 are targeted mostly in foreign countries (Child Labor). Child labours are modern day slaves who work in dangerous workplaces.With long hours and little to no pay and they need help.

In 2012 10.6% of children aged 5 -17 were still enslaved worldwide.
