How it works

When there are small groups of individuals anything is still able to be accomplished and sometimes even more then. Small groups are able to have a huge change on specific topics or events throughout the world. Small groups are able to do this in unimaginable ways. For some examples that may even be completely controversial would be Hitler and the movement he made as leader of Germany, Rotary International formed by Paul P. Harris and 3 business acquaintances which bring together business and professional leaders in order to provide humanitarian service and to advance goodwill and peace around the world, and Steve jobs the founder and creator of the product we know today as Apple.

YES, Hitler was not a good person, and what he did was absolutely horrible and one of the largest tragedies this world has seen. But there was a concept behind everything Hitler did and the impact that he made was absolutely “amazing” because of how much change he was able to make as an individual. Now Hitler was known to be one of the most powerful and notorious dictators of the 20th century. Hitler capitalized on economic woes, popular discontent and political infighting to take absolute power in Germany, beginning in 1933. January 30, 1933 marked the birth of the Third Reich, or as the Nazis called it, the “Thousand-Year Reich”, Hitler went on to boast that it would endure for a millennium. Right from the start of power Hitler was already starting to prove that he was gonna make a huge change and stand out from every leader there has been. Hitler then went on to attack Germany and France as many people know and this did not bode well for either countries in the end. Hitler was known to be an unstoppable war machine after this happened because of how much power and persistence he showed as a leader. After he successfully defeat France and Germany, he was then able to show everyone what he was truly capable of doing and how much control he had as an individual. Hitler went on by slowly imprisoning and enslaving jewish people and everyone who was not “pure” German. He even made sure to surround himself with people who were “pure” German as well by putting any legislative party that was under him in prison. Hitler was able to imprison and kill a grand total of over 17 million people during the time he was leader. Hitler as a single individual was able to make an impact on many countries and rule with unstoppable power, striking fear into his opponents eyes and loyalty through his people.

Rotary International although not a common heard name nowadays all started with a small group of individuals, four to be exact. It all started with a man named Paul P. Harris, he took 3 of his business acquaintances, Gustavus Loehr, Silvester Schiele, and Hiram E. Shorey and they all gathered in Gustavus Loehr office for what would become known as the first rotary club meeting. The 4 of them came up with the idea to bring together business and professional leaders in order to provide humanitarian service and to advance goodwill and peace around the world. This was the first non-profit organization which provided care for the people who really needed it, and allowed people to give back to the community. Only 16 years after being founded, Rotary had clubs on six continents. Today, Rotary International members in nearly every country work to solve some of our world’s most challenging problems. Just starting from a small group of 4 individuals Rotary International has now grown to 1.2 million members which are able to help millions upon millions of people all around the world, providing with hospitality and care.

One of the most known names in the U.S. today is Steve Jobs, founder and creator of one of the most known products in the U.S; Apple. Steve jobs started with an idea that changed the world forever and it all started in his garage. As an individual steve jobs came up with the extraordinary idea at the time to create what we know now as the first ever Apple computer. This immediately sparked change in society, people bought these “strange” box objects with this extremely “strange” set of keys on a plastic board, with a box shaped plastic mouse. People would then take them home and start to figure out how to use these crazy machines that they were just recently introduced too. This allowed for the first ever communication through the internet without one of those turn dial phones on the wall. This immediately started to spark ongoing creations through steve jobs mind allowing him to upgrade the apple computer and create a newer ones as time went on. But this was not it for steve jobs, he wanted more and he knew that he could do more, and he was correct! Steve jobs then later came out with the first ever hand held device known as the ipod which allowed communication through a little screen in your hands and of course to play some games. This then led to the creation of the Iphone which was a revolutionary product that allowed people to communicate over the phone just by dialing there number and putting it next to their ear. Now what wasn’t mentioned was how he was able to keep creating after he built the first ever Apple computer. After Steve Jobs did create the Apple computer this sparked opportunity for advancement and new technology outlooks for the future. We know these new inventions as, Wifi, cable, television, monitors, almost everything that came after the first Apple computer that had to do with technology was because of an individual named steve jobs who created the society that we know today.

Hitler and the movement he made as leader of Germany, Rotary International formed by Paul P. Harris and 3 business acquaintances which bring together business and professional leaders in order to provide humanitarian service and to advance goodwill and peace around the world, and Steve jobs the founder and creator of the product we know today as Apple. These were all people/small groups that made extremely large impacts in the world and really showed what one individual can do and set the bar that people strive and live to reach.
