Thomas Jefferson was the 3rd presient of the United States. Thomas Jefferson won the election in 1801 and wrote that “All men are created equal”. The philosopher that provided the emerging nations found statement of human and national rights was now elected to be president. As president, Jefferson followed the nation’s trade and shipping interests against Barbary pirates and aggressive British trade policies. The Louisiana Purchase was organized and almost doubling the country territory. The result was of peace negotiations with France, his management reduced military forces.
Jefferson’s achievements or what he wanted to be remembered for was he was the author of the Declaration of Independence, and he founded the University of Virginia. Jefferson passed a statue in Virginia for Religious. Jefferson asked if his achievements could be on his tombstones.
Jefferson was challenging morally by the issue of slavery. He had proposed releasing and retraining slaves, and he wanted to insert into the Declaration of Independence a statement critizing King George III of England for his support of the slave trade but it was tooken out.
Andrew Jackson was the 7th president of the United States. Jackson was introduced as President of the United States.
Jacksons achievements was the most requested commanders in the Wars of 1812 with Britain. He was known for his bravery leadership. He became famous from the contribution of the Battle of New Orleans.
Andrew Jackson faced perserving the Union, which he did by the sheer of force. He held the ground and destroyed his bank when there was a problem. Jackson ignored the Supreme Court and forced them to move west.
Jackson and Jefferson went through different challenges. Jackson faced more challenges within the region and didn’t care what the people wanted. Jefferson faced more challenges with more people outside of the state and he cared what people wanted and requested.
In my opinion I think Thomas Jefferson was most because, He cared what people wanted and made sure his job was done. Jefferson helped the United States by writing the Declaration of Independence.”
