Drug Abuse – Destructive Pattern

Drug abuse is the destructive pattern of using substances that leads to uncounted problems and diseases in the human body. It is a physical and psychological term which takes dependence on human activities. Drugs create bad effects on human life like anxiety, impaired social relations, depression, hopelessness, rejection etc. Impaired social relations and suicide are considered the worst consequences of addiction. The drugs have negative consequences on one’s life. If the addicts were able to see the reality of their situation they would find it much harder to continue with their self destructive behavior.

There are some of logical fallacies that the person trapped in them. He believes that there is drug recovery community so she can get out of that misery.

Most people believe that health warnings associated with drugs are exaggerated and there is exception to the role and will be able to consume drugs without suffering from the negative consequences of drugs. There is another idea that all the problems are due to bad luck and not due to drug abuse. Some people believe that sober life is a bored and complacent way to spend life. He is failed previously in his many goals to get sober so this means that all future attempts will also doomed in failure. Some people thought that drugs make a man emotional and creative. It is a natural philosophy that after drug the man becomes so emotional and provokes the human brain. Suicide is the 10th leading cause of death in the United States. Most people commit suicide because of depression, which mostly is caused by drugs. People with drugs use disorders are about six times to commit suicide then the general people. Drugs harm the user personal and professional life.

This affects a person life through job loss, divorce, aggression towards family and friends. A report was stated that “approximately 10 percent of our population is addicted towards drugs which cross all socio economic boundaries.” Our Health effects of addictive substances can prompt physical consequences throughout the body. Addictive substances will cause heavy stress on the body. It damages respiratory system and sometimes causes cancer. Twenty three million people are addicted towards drugs in the United States. According to The National Institute of Heath, more than 100,000 die each year in the United States. Medical, social and economic addiction costs are estimated 500m dollars per year.
