Same-Sex Marriage – Gay Marriage

There are many problems with the concept of Gay Marriage, be it religious or a social decree. Same-Sex marriage is a idea that doesn’t work according to biological studies. California’s Same-Sex marriage law should be amended because it violates the state’s constitution and many religious beliefs.

No ideology can erase from the human spirit the certainty that marriage exists solely between a man and a woman…” Most Popes find same sex marriage as disrespect to the creator. A dude named, Pope Benedict stated that, in Jan. 2012 that gay marriage threatened “”the future of humanity itself.” which seems serious, think about, if the percent of gay marriage out weights the percentage of domestic marriages, then our population will drop.

Not only is this a problem for the religious it’s also a big problem for our children(s) as well. See, a child needs both a mom and a dad. A child needs both sides to show them how to stay in line, (meaning not getting in trouble, not messing with other boys or girls, to show them cause and effect) A boy/girl would need a dad to have a social influence and would need a mom for emotional security. It’s been shown that fathers are great a reducing antisocial behavior and bad behavior in boys and sexual activity in girls. Moms and Dads both give off a unique social and biological influence on their children for example, a recent study of a father’s absence on girls, found that girls who grew up apart from their biological father were more likely to go through early puberty and teen pregnancy than girls who spent their entire childhood with a whole family. This study along with, David Popenoe’s, work suggests that a father’s pheromones(a chemical that triggers a social response) influences the emotional growth for his children, the mom and dad also that strong marriages give a model for girls of what to look for in a man, and gives them the confidence to resist the sexual approaches of their boyfriends. Same-sex couples would argue that love is love and that if they are in love they should be with each other, in other words, personal beliefs.”
