How it works

Introduction

Since the native americans first discovered the land, to the present day, the United States of America has always given hope to the ones without much of it. Although much has evolved, it is still the country of success. The American Dream is still alive, given that diverse immigrants have traveled here with nothing and came to make a fortune by utilizing our top schools, technology, and, most importantly, our Bill of Rights.

Three Reasons Why American Dream Endures

Firstly, there are multiple stories of filth to fame.

“The American Dream drew nearly 14 million immigrants to the U.S. in the past decade”, as explained by Business Insider. A fitting example is the founder of Yahoo, Jerry Yang. He was born in Taiwan, and his parents brought him to California in order to give him a better life. He later went to Stanford, started the business, and now has a net worth of $1.5 billion. Of course, not everyone can make it that big, but if you are a hard worker, America has virtuous education, technology, etcetera for it to be feasible.

Further to my previous comment, “[America] has produced the world’s biggest technology companies like Google, Facebook, Apple, Intel, IBM, and Microsoft.” Although these are used internationally, it shows technology has made a huge impact on America and the likeliness to succeed. Social media is a notable part of success. “Digital marketing has grown into this huge entity that has helped the smallest of start-ups grow to major internet influences.” Education is additionally a significant part of the process. America is one of the top 20 countries in the world for education. Not only are these important, but furthermore, they have equal rights.

Lastly, the Bill of Rights, or the first ten amendments, is an extreme part of the American dream. Since 1791, the day the Bill of Rights was created, America became known for freedom. There are several countries that don’t allow certain things that could stop someone from having their own desirable life. According to the First Amendment, we have free religion and free speech. For instance, a man/woman in China might have big dreams of their own but cannot enjoy life given that their religion is not acceptable. “According to the State Department’s 2016 report, there have been claims the government [of China] “physically abused, detained, arrested, tortured, sentenced to prison, or harassed adherents of both registered and unregistered religious groups.” This goes to say that America is a good option for them, somewhere they can live a content life while reaching for success.

Conclusion

To conclude, anyone from anywhere can achieve their goals in the U.S.A. We have the preeminent education and technology and, of course, our freedom of speech and religion. The American dream is more than alive; it’s living.
