Respect for Children
I believe that respect is a two way process. You should be treated the way that you would like to be treated. Children should be treated with respect by adults, as they have feelings. Adults think that children could be treated in any way they please by adults. I’m not just going to point this situation on only on adults but the children have to be treated with respect to give respect. Children should have boundaries when it comes to adults, likewise.
Adults expect students to treat them with respect at all times, when they have no respect for children. I believe that type of behavior is unacceptable, because respect is a two way street.
The way that we were acting during the fire drill I understand was completely unacceptable and disrespectful. It was also embarrassing how the teachers treated us and were taking pictures of us. In this new world we are living, people walk over each other to get what they want and don’t think they should earn it. That’s very upsetting and there should be a stop to it. When teachers treat students disrespectfully it distracts us from learning, because we are thinking of this teacher as if I should go to this class because this teacher doesn’t care. When adults disrespect children, it becomes a distraction everyday life including school work. Adults tend to provoke children and then turn it around on children, as though the children are just disrespectful. We all need to learn that respect should be universal and so we should treat people how we would like to be treated.
“Responsibility: The state or fact of having a duty to deal with something or of having control over someone.”Responsibility Is important in everyone’s life because we all have responsibilities in every stage of life. Responsibilities should be put on all of us in some point of our lives, because we are getting older. We should be responsible for ourselves and others who are not able to understand responsibilitY. We need to learn how to take responsibilities in lives. In this world, people never want to take their responsibility, especially when it’s bad. They want to blame it on other people, and never own what decisions or actions they have made and instead, they that they lie or blame others. “Respect: a feeling of deep admiration for someone or something elicited by their abilities, qualities, or achievements.”
