All Religion View LGBTQ Life Styles Negatively

The Relationship between religion and LGBTQ community is different from time and place, and different religions. Countless religions in the world view LGBTQ negatively. This Negativity can range from explicitly forbidding to discouraging same sex sexual practices, and sexual reassignment, but liberals and progressive voices actively push social acceptance of the LGBTQ Identities. Most of the LGBTQ have been raised in many different organized religions many cherish their community’s faith but many are being forced to leave those communities’ behind because of their life style.

All religions have a negative view on the LGBTQ lifestyle.

Liberals and progressive voices within all religions often view LGBTQ people more positively, and some may bless same sex marriages. The opposition to same sex marriage is often associated with the conservative religious views. The Catholic Church currently welcomes people who are attracted to the same sex, while maintaining its teachings of sexual relationship of the same sex are sinful, the Catholic church also considers transgender individuals to be their first biological sex.

Islam vies of homosexuality is influenced by the teachings of the prophet Muhammed, and sexual acts between the same sex is condemned. But transgender individuals are often more accepted only if they are following the traditional norms the the current gender post-transition. Judaism follows the Torah and regards classifying sexual intercourse between two males can be subject to capital punishment, this opinion is still maintained by the Orthodox Judaism. “And if a man lie with mankind, as with womankind, both of them have committed a detestable act: They shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.” (Vayikra – Leviticus – Chapter 20 line 11)
