How it works

Introduction

I have gone from a simple high school-level writer to a college-level writer within four months. I have improved and grown as a college lever writer because my feedback and grades on my essays and writing assignments have gotten better since the beginning of the class; at the beginning of this semester, I could write a very simple informative essay with little information and proof thinking it was a good essay, now I can write an informative and an argumentative essay with proof and facts to back my information, and I now know how to properly use in-text citations, and then to explain the quote and why it is important to the topic.

Since it is easier for me to write an essay and I provide information as well as proof and facts to back it up, I use in-text citations and inform on why the quote is relevant to the subject, as I get better feedback and grades on essays and writing assignments I have improved as a college-level writer.

From High School to College-Level Writing: A Notable Transformation

I have improved as a college lever writer because it is easier for me to write an essay. I have always been a person who has a lot of ideas, but I have never been able to articulate them well. I have always struggled with writing essays and often would just use information from articles and use it directly from the source. Now, I feel like I am finally able to make my thoughts come alive on paper because of how easy it is to write an essay. It’s much easier for me to write an essay now that I have a college-level thought process. I can write essays without having to strain my back and arm muscles. Writing an essay is a daunting task for some, but it has become easier for me because of the process I have learned. The first step is to write out your thesis statement and then brainstorm your ideas. Next, you need to create a table of contents and list all the points you want to make in your essay. Then, you need to take out your ideas and create a rough draft. Finally, you can go through and make changes and revisions until you are happy with your final product. I used to struggle with writing essays, but now I am able to write them in less than half the time it used to take me. This is because I have been able to get more writing done in the time it takes me to do other things. I now have a set routine that I follow every day so that I can get a lot of writing done in the time I have available.

I have improved as a college lever writer because I use and explain in-text citations. I do not know if this is true, but I truly believe it is. When I first started this class, I did not know how to write a good citation. It was hard for me to figure out what things to use in a text citation, so I had to ask my professor for help, as well as Google. Now, I have been able to make citations more professional and better than before. I have always been a writer, and I have loved writing since a young age. However, I did not always write well. As a freshman, I struggled to write a good essay. During this semester, I have done all of the practices and all of the assignments on citation to make sure I can do them right. I learned about the importance of citing sources in order to prove that your work is valid. Citations are an easy way to improve your writing skills. Citations can help you make your writing more powerful and research-based. When you cite your sources, it makes your writing more credible.

I have improved as a college lever writer because I get better feedback and grades than at the start. At the beginning of this semester, when I had my first essay assignment, I wasn’t too confident about my writing skills, so I would write about anything that came to mind at home to try and practice. I would write about life, love, and anything else that popped into my head. Then, I would give it to my dad to try and get some feedback, but the feedback was not very helpful. After a few months of writing in this class, with all of the practice, I started to get more confidence and started writing better than I had before. When I first started writing for college, I had a hard time getting into the flow of things.

Conclusion

I felt like I was struggling to keep up with the workload, and my grades were not improving. However, now that I have a better understanding of how to write papers and have better feedback from my professor, my grades have improved, and my writing has improved. This has led me to be more confident in myself as a writer, and I am able to start my college career off on a good foot. I have found that working with the writing center and my professor has helped me to see the value of writing in general and see how it can be used in many different situations. I have improved my grades and gotten better feedback from my professors because I have been writing a lot more. I have been getting feedback on my papers, and I am getting better grades. And because of that, I am doing a lot better than when I first started.
