The Civil War was Aged

The Civil war was aged on by many reasons on both sides and leaders from both ends in a disagreement with how the United States of America should be govern. With the leaders and war generals making big decisions and the people of the north and the south both raging their opinions with words and with guns. The war was all about the morality of having slaves, African Americans, work for little money and have no rights. And there were many bloodshed battles fought between them

As the reasons for the north fighting were to prevent the further use of African Americans as hard working, poorly treated, little paid slaves.

They did however think african americans were inferior to whites. Some northerners did make attempts to free the african american slaves from the ruthless south. They fought for the african americans freedom and felt like they deserve to be free. The north also did not need slaves cause of the new technology called steam that can power boats and trains.

They had many factories instead of plantations or fields unlike the southern states that needed the man power because they were technologically behind. The people on the north were pretty high ranked too, including President Abraham Lincoln and Ulysses S Grant. In every battle there comes a time when both sides consider themselves beaten, then he who continues the attack wins. – Ulysses, the civil war.

The south wanted slaves and they pretty much ran off slaves and their hard long work. If they were to lose them they would be losing all of their money and have to do it all themselves. They also fought for there pride and land not backing down from the probable way better north. Even knowing they could lose, Robert E Lee led them to many victories in battle with his advanced tactics in war. He has been out numbered and used guerrilla warfare. He was fearless but after the war had stopped he had fallen to the north. A Union that can only be maintained by swords and bayonets, and in which strife and civil war are to take the place of brotherly love and kindness, has no charm for me. – Robert, the civil war

Now we know what happens if the north won but we don’t and we are probably glad the south won. There would have been division between the united states and it might have even split into two different countries constantly at war. Slavery could still be a real problem and so could prejudice against african americans. Since the civil war the country as been united and racism has died down big time.

Between the north and the south there are lots of differences but neither area wants slavery back in the country and we have been together for multiple centuries and we have been very successful country. No more leaders only the president over the entire united states. No more mass racism but there are those few that think like that.
