Cyberbullying has ruined many lives. Cyberbullying on social media is connected to depression in teenagers, according to a modern research that studied it. Among teenagers, said Michele Hamm, a researcher in pediatrics at the University of Alberta, but the health aftermath of cyberbullying on social media sites is largely unknown. (Both bullies and their victims are more likely to suffer from depression. This association can be long-lasting. People who are bullied as children are more likely to be traumatized from depression as an adult than children not involved in bullying. Teens who commit suicide usually suffer from suicidal thoughts. Experts hesitate to say that bullying is an open cause to suicide. Researcher needs to find more information about if low self esteem is the answer of being cyber bullied or if it possibly makes a person a victim of cyberbullying. This may be because cyberbullying can be more harsh and more frightening. Especially if the bully is unknown.

Anxiety is also a huge part when it comes to cyberbullying. Cyber bullying can be tough to spot. Many young people who are being bullied don’t want to tell teachers or parents, perhaps because they feel embarrassed or worried about losing their electronic privileges. Many parents don’t understand that the internet and electronic devices are popular for teenagers. Sadly though cyberbullying is a helping hand to teen suicide.Cyber bullying will have an effect on a child’s mental health . In particular, it can permit teenagers with low self-esteem, depression, anxiety, less interest in school, a deep sense of loneliness, self-harming and, in some cases, suicide.
