Stress, anxiety, and even panic may have stifled you in the past, but that’s history.

You’re now solving problems and feeling good about it. You are self-assured, radiating a positive demeanor, and embracing your best possibilities at work and in life. Shouldn’t you be enjoying this lifestyle? Is this possible? “”But you don’t understand,”” perhaps you say. “”My problems are still there and I’m just nervous about everything.”” Yes, the external problems are there now. However, the way you feel has everything to do with the way you deal with problems, solve problems, and avoid problems.

Our focus here is to keep the external stress from creating internal stress. Is stressed-out the new normal? With so much external stress in our lives – arising from work demands, deadlines, and unexpected events, there is a tendency to believe that an ongoing state of nervousness is normal. As if a high level of tension is the proud emblem of a busy person. However, many successful people know these two things about stress.

The sustained level of excess stress energy is counter-productive and seriously handicaps our best performance at work and our optimal experience of life. It is possible to relieve stress with simple stress management techniques. The practice of managing stress has proven to restore a healthy balance to all aspects of daily living. It’s easier than you may think! Any person can learn the skills of stress management. Most importantly, you can adapt these simple skills uniquely to fit your own life, so they can be most beneficial to you personally. Did You Know?

Not only can you manage stress, but you can actually eliminate stress from your life? More on this later. My mission here is to share with you my discoveries of how to shed the burden of stress with small changes that are easy yet proven to be remarkably effective. “”How does he know?”” you may ask. Is he a psychiatrist? Or a mental health professional? Absolutely NOT! Sure, I majored in psychology in college but that was just out of interest.

Academic learning did not teach me how to manage or eliminate the ongoing stress and anxiety that pervaded my daily life at the time. My discoveries came through real people who had suffered and mastered stress. I learned by application and experiential learning. I experienced the resulting joy of applying techniques that had immediate and cumulative effects on my psyche and wellbeing.

Then I experienced the bliss of being set free of internal stress. And now I want to share with you the secrets to this freedom from stress. If you want to enjoy your life free of the negative, downward pull of stress, anxiety, and even panic, then read on. You can do it! I think I hear you: “”Too good to be true. It may work for others but not for me.”” For some people, that may well be true. After all, if eliminating stress is real and attainable, why do so many people continue to suffer? Take a look at this . . . Percentage of adults who stated their stress level had increased over the previous year in the U.S. from 2014 to 2017.

Source The graph shows that, in 2017, almost 37% of adults said their stress levels increased over already high levels in previous years. Although you may be eager to get started, let’s make sure you will never be part of these escalating statistics. Many people afflicted with stress, anxiety, and even panic have tried “”cures”” with no results or, at best, only modest temporary relief. Why is that? Which Way to Turn? First, you must be wary of false fixes repeatedly cloaked in different words. The internet is certainly a boon for humanity. However, it is also clouded with inaccurate or shallow information.

This is the unfortunate reality. For the people who do not abuse it, the internet is a godsend. And it’s been a huge advantage for those who have scoured through innumerable sites to find the real information. But for most people, it can be difficult to determine which sites are reputable and which are not. This unfortunate reality has left many people more confused, wondering which way to turn and whether being free of stress is even possible.

The saddest part is that they give up their efforts, continue enduring the unease of stress that they were desperately trying to escape. After a while, you begin to suffer from “”information overload””. So much is coming to you from all sides and everyone is claiming that they are the only way. Whom should you believe? Is mainstream the only stream? Mainstream methods, while sincere in efforts, may be “”off the mark”” for you. Expensive therapists and medications talk it out or take a drug. Are these long-term solutions or temporary cushions of comfort?

Maybe they work for some people but I don’t think you’d be reading this if that were your chosen route. Labels Then there are the labels, such as “”Anxiety Disorder.”” These are convenient categories in the professional study of afflictions. However, labels carry a stigma: they stick and convey an implicit message that the problem is permanent.

This is untrue. The fact is that alternative practices have proven unequivocally that people absolutely can eliminate the recurrence of anxiety attacks. Magic Bullets You must also beware of being sold a “”magic bullet”” solution. If you want results, you need to do the “”work. Do what works for you and apply what you learn, uniquely to yourself. Reading alone will not achieve results. Eliminating internal stress, anxiety and panic attacks is an experiential process that is unique to you. From my own experience, I can assure you of this: if you follow through, the results are glorious.

The techniques that we teach get results. When you apply and experience them, you will know for yourself that they do indeed work. So, the right information and tools are essential if you want to succeed in truly conquering your experience of stress, anxiety, or panic. In this handbook, you are going to learn the most effective techniques for relieving stress. They are proven to work and are widely practiced around the world. Going forward, we will assume that:

  1. You are sincerely looking for ways to overcome stress, so you can feel happier and more relaxed at home, at work or at school.
  2. You will not be using this book as a medical reference or as a substitute for any medical advice from a healthcare professional.
  3. You are open to new ideas and are willing to try new techniques that will help you beat stress for good. We will focus on three areas to relieve stress: Your body, Your time, and Your mind.
