Beyoncé Giselle Knowles-Carter or as she is better known as just Beyoncé has sold as of 2016, 17.2 million albums as a solo artist, and 17 million albums as part of Destiny's Child.
She was a part of Destiny's Child in 1990, when original members Beyoncé Knowles, Kelly Rowland, LeToya Luckett and LaTavia Roberson were just nine years old. The four met and became friends at an audition. After 15 great years, Destiny's Child broke up in June of 2005. Destiny's Child reunites at Coachella in 2017"Dangerously In Love" Beyoncé started making her own music while a part of Destiny's Child. Her first album was titled "Dangerously in Love", created in 2003. Only two singles from the album,"Crazy in Love" and "Baby Boy" with Sean Paul, reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100 chart." Then on June 13, 2017, the couple welcomed their second and third children, Rumi and Sir. With a growing total of 22 awards and 63 nominations from the Grammys for her music, she is the most nominated woman and the second most-awarded woman in Grammy history. This was an obvious album name for Beyoncé. One of her most famous song from this album is "Run the World". "Beyoncé" The Album "Beyoncé" the album came out in 2013. It has many fan favorites such as "Pretty Hurts", "Drunk In Love", and "Partition". "Lemonade"Lemonade" is the most recent album by Beyoncé. This album came out in 2016, and it and in the first year of sales, "Lemonade" sold one million copies worldwide. One of the most popular songs from this catchy album is "Formation". Beyoncé joined by her former Destiny's Child bandmate, Kelly Rowland, to create the Survivor Foundation, which provides a helping hand to victims of natural disasters. Beyoncé was born in Houston, Texas, and refers to herself as a "Houston, Texas baby". She also built the Knowles Temenos Place Apartments in Houston.
