How it works

Police brutality started in the early 70s, due to the lack of equal rights for African Americans. Over the last past several years, it has left citizens wondering if policemen are doing their jobs or just looking for another murder case. Due to all the unnecessary shooting, rough treatment, and beating upon black people three radical black organizers created Black Lives Matter.

In the result of this injustice, African American lady, Korryn Gaines, a 23-year old woman, was pulled over with her two year old son and her daughter in the car with her for not having a tag on her vehicle.
