How it works

Shakespeare, wanting to please the monarch, wrote a play about the valiant ancestor of the kings of the future Great Britain (Banquo), who did not listen to the predictions of witches. To increase the box office, the author describes the story of the brutal murder of the sovereign by his subject Macbeth in order to seize power.

“Macbeth” is one of the most monstrous works of Shakespeare, which reflected all the barbarism of the century in which he lived. ” Perhaps this is true.

Everything else in this tragedy is the product of the fiction of the English playwright. And above all, the image of King Macbeth himself, who was an outstanding and wise ruler, and not a bloodthirsty tyrant.

Six years ago, a collective of renowned historians led by John Beatty of New York City University attempted to declare 2005 “the year of Macbeth” to mark King Macbeth’s 1,000th birthday and convince 20 Scottish MPs to campaign for the recognition of the historical merits of this monarch.

The Macbeth legend that Shakespeare used in his play was originally created by Scottish bards under the patronage of a rival clan with the Macbeth clan.

Death plays an important role in the play by William Shakespeare “Macbeth”, one of the death scenes is the death of Lady Macbeth. In act 5, scene 5, Macbeth hears a scream and turns to his servant and asks what it is, he is told that it is Lady Macbeth who killed herself. Macbeth does not ask how she died, and he tells his servant that she will die later anyway. This is because Lady Macbeth is pressuring Macbeth to gain more power, and she does so using guilt and tells him that he is not human enough to kill Duncan. Her remorse and temptation continued to grow to such an extent that Macbeth finally gave up and did as he was told. When Lady Macbeth died, it was almost as if Macbeth felt relief from the death of this wife, although it was tragic. This shows the true meaning of the work as a whole, because it shows that strength is most important and that Lady Macbeth wanted this strength for Macbeth more than Macbeth wanted it for herself.

In this power theme, Macbeth is a character who is at the center of all power shifts. This power shift has disrupted his relationship as he gains more power. For example, Lady Macbeth is initially a supportive and loving wife who gets along well with her husband. When Macbeth tells her about the witches’ prophecy that he is a king, she is happy for him. She then becomes ruthless, trying to get Macbeth to kill Duncan. Lady Macbeth soon begins to persuade him to kill Duncan so that Macbeth will take his place. Leading Macbeth to kill Duncan, Macbeth talks about what he is about to do. Lady Macbeth is not going to let him go. Her first persuasion tactic is to play on Macbeth’s insecurities. She does this by calling him a coward because he is afraid to kill Duncan. Lady Macbeth also tells him that he will become more of a man if he kills Duncan.

Many times after the murder of Lady Macbeth, he tries to hide the guilt of both her and Macbeth. She does it in such a way that no one would think that they have anything to do with the murder. She believes that if no one knows that they are guilty, it helps them themselves to completely forget about it. She is angry with Macbeth several times for being preoccupied with his guilt instead of enjoying his kingdom. All this proves that Macbeth believes in the wrong people, this is ironic, because Macbeth must be able to believe in his wife, and she must help Macbeth do the right thing.

This is a prime example of the terrible things that guilt can do to you. Lady Macbeth started out as a normal person. Her only mistake of being power-hungry led her into a downward spiral into insanity. If she had been patient instead of trying to kill people in order to get Macbeth into the position of king, she would have no guilt and would not have killed herself. The witches told the future, which means he would become king whether he killed Duncan or not. Something else might have happened to Duncan; they didn’t need to kill him. She would have enjoyed being queen much more if she hadn’t been killed to be her. It would be much better because she wouldn’t be paranoid about being caught, like Macbeth. Plus, she would be much calmer because her self-awareness would not receive her the way it used to. Macbeth’s story can teach you very good life lessons. First and foremost, greed can upset you a lot. Secondly, you need to be patient. Last but not least, guilt is not something you can ignore; You have to deal with this before it gets out of hand. Lady Macbeth’s misdeeds caused her more harm than she thought. Therefore, Lady Macbeth’s suicide was caused by her responsibility for the murder of Duncan.
