"Drunk driving is when a person drives under the influence of alcohol or when a person drives intoxicated. The difficulty in drunk driving is the driver is not on his or her conscious state of mind and it leads to accidents. This difficulty arises when a person who is supposed to drive starts to drink alcohol, especially over the legal limits.

Sobriety checkpoints allow police to briefly stop vehicles at specific, highly visible locations to see if the driver is impaired. Police may stop all or a certain portion of drivers. Breath tests may be given if police have a reason to suspect the driver is intoxicated."
