Essay About Rosa Parks
Rosa Parks was a very important person in life, she inspired lots of people to say out loud what they think. She was very brave to do something that no one would imagine that someone like her was going to do. It was brave to say no just like that. All do her life wasn’t that easy she was a slave and had a hard life. She was born on February 4 1913 in Tuskegee and died in Detroit on October 24, 2005, she was 92 years old when she died. As an African American in Alabama, she had to live with segregation, which means separation from the since she was a little girl. And she didn’t agree on how they were treated, even as a little girl. She didn’t know why they were not treated fairly but when she got older she learn why and she didn’t feel very good about races. She didn't think good about people that were racist it was treating other people wrong or not fair. Her mom was a teacher and so she taught her how to read, although other kids couldn’t because they were born earlier but she was born when they had put a law saying that doesn't matter who you are you could learn how to read. As she grew up she got married with Raymond Parks in 1932. And he was the one to encourage her to return to high school and earn a diploma.
It started in a normal day, she was going to work when it happened. When she was at that bus she was not scared of what was going to happen, she was confident that this was going to be right. When the meant told her to move and she didn’t she was proud of herself because that was the right thing to do and then went to driver said to move she didn’t and that was something that no one else could’ve done it was very brave. When she was getting arrested she wasn’t scared she new that it will pay off. When she was in jail they didn’t hurt her. When she got out of I found she called her mom and the first thing her mom asked her was did they had attacked or hurt her, they did that before but she said no. Then her husband said that they are going to be there shortly. When she was out of jail people are fighting for what was right and for how the seats are for everyone so they have to put a fair law. They made an agreement that said that you can sit wherever you want.
She encourage lot of woman and man to say out loud what do you think is fair and what they think about something. She was a great person and she risked her life to get something not only for her for the whole world what’s fair. She left a message or a quote “Racism is still with us. But it is up to us to prepare our children for what they have to meet, and, hopefully, we shall overcome”
